I’m 31 32 years old, a wife and a mother. I work full time (currently on maternity leave) in waste management and am an environmentalist and social justice advocate, sometimes activist.

I have lived my entire life in Newfoundland & Labrador (Canada, for you’s from away) – born in Port Aux Basques, raised in Lewisporte and Happy Valley Goose Bay, also lived in Corner Brook and Placentia, now settled in St. John’s but my heart is in the Codroy Valley. Yes, I’m a bayman that had two townie babies.

Cory started this blog but I keep it going. Of course. I write the blog primarily to keep family and friends that live away from us in contact so as to know what is going on in our lives, and to be a part of our daughters growing up. I also like that the blog serves as a family diary of sorts. Oh yeah, and a easy place for me to store my favourite recipes.
